A Sufficient Condition That a C-Characteristic Be Geometric.

چکیده
These inequalities express the fact that no curve of order k and defined at the p points can meet the net in more than yok points. Coble' has conjectured that the conditions (1) and (2) are sufficient as well as necessary. In this paper we will show that the conditions (2) are actually sufficient. Indeed, the less stringent set of inequalities given in (5) will suffice. The notation and point of view is that used in "Ctemona's Diophantine Equations."2 We begin with the proof of LEMMA: If co > 0 in a solution Ic} of equations (1), then 2co > cl + c2 + c3, where

The Aluffi Algebra and Linearity Condition
The Aluffi algebra is an algebraic version of characteristic cycles in intersection theory which is an intermediate graded algebra between the symmetric algebra (naive blowup) and the Rees algebra (blowup). Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring and J ⊂I ideals of R. We say that J ⊂I satisfy linearity condition if the Aluffi algebra of I/J is isomorphic with the symmetric algebra. In this pa...
متن کاملAn Optimal G^2-Hermite Interpolation by Rational Cubic Bézier Curves
In this paper, we study a geometric G^2 Hermite interpolation by planar rational cubic Bézier curves. Two data points, two tangent vectors and two signed curvatures interpolated per each rational segment. We give the necessary and the sufficient intrinsic geometric conditions for two C^2 parametric curves to be connected with G2 continuity. Locally, the free parameters w...
متن کاملShuffle algorithm for two-dimensional singular systems with a Fornasini-Marchesini model
The condition for existence of solution for 2-D singular systems is usually stated as the nonsingularity of a matrix pencil in two complex variables. The determinant of this matrix pencil equals the characteristic polynomial of the system. Although many authors assume this regularity condition to be satisfied, there has been no apparent effort towards developing computational methods to evaluat...
متن کاملCuspidal and Noncuspidal Robot Manipulators
This article synthezises the most important results on the kinematics of cuspidal manipulators i.e. nonredundant manipulators that can change posture without meeting a singularity. The characteristic surfaces, the uniqueness domains and the regions of feasible paths in the workspace are defined. Then, several sufficient geometric conditions for a manipulator to be noncuspidal are enumerated and...
متن کاملCurve networks compatible with G2 surfacing
Prescribing a network of curves to be interpolated by a surface model is a standard approach in geometric design. Where n curves meet, even when they afford a common normal direction, they need to satisfy an algebraic condition, called the vertex enclosure constraint, to allow for an interpolating piecewise polynomial C surface. Here we prove the existence of an additional, more subtle constrai...
